As an honors student we have the opportunity to go on one trip each spring semester to study the geology of an area. The purpose of these trips are to expose us to more geologic concepts, practice applying the knowledge learned in the classroom, and to become better geologists for once we graduate. This years trip took us across Peru to study the evolution and climate of the Andes.
